How to Wear a Skinny Scarf: Three Ways

Lately I have been going crazy over the scarf trend. I don’t know why I never thought of it before, but I am seriously so in love with scarfs. And not only do I love this trend at the moment, but I think it is something that I will continue to implement into my style from here on out.

My favorite thing about scarfs is how versatile they are. Not only can you use them to tie up your hair, but you can attach them to bags, tie them around your neck or even wear them as a headband. They can instantly add color and texture to any outfit. In fact, I have recently gotten in the habit of grabbing a scarf every time I go out the door, just like I grab my sunglasses, they are that essential to my wardrobe!

I also love how scarfs come in all shapes, sizes, colors and patterns. My favorite type of scarf is the long skinny scarf. I like this style because they are long enough to tie in bows, and everything is obviously better with bows!

Recently I wore a long skinny green scarf with a yellow, tie-front, dress. It was the perfect complement to tie the outfit together. Although I initially wore the scarf as a headband, I used it to tie my hair up into a ponytail when it got hotter out and later on tied it to my purse to add some extra flare. Like I said, I just love how versatile scarfs are and that’s exactly why I bring them with me everywhere I go.
