This is the first post for my series on exploring Colorado. Colorado is such an awesome place to live, work, and play that I thought I would share with you some of the places that make it so great.

First up is the Broadmoor Hotel. The Broadmoor is a 100 year old luxury hotel located in Colorado Springs. Although it is quite pricey to stay here (I was lucky enough to get to stay one night as a birthday present), it is also a place that is beautiful to just walk around and explore, or eat at one of their many restaurants. I love admiring all the architecture, artwork and landscaping on the property or just sitting by the serene lake that sits in the middle of the property.

For my Birthday dinner we went to a restaurant at the Broadmoor called Ristorante Del Lago, which serves authentic Italian food. I wore this black jumpsuit paired with, of course, my go to loafers.

Inside the Broadmoor there are so many rooms and spaces to explore. My favorite was the library, the best place to cozy up with a good book.
