Denver Botanic Gardens and a Little Linen Dress

Happy hump day! Hope you all are having a good week so far. This is my first official week of summer and I could not be more excited for sunshine, festivals, laying by the pool, and hiking! I wanted to start off summer right, so I decided to take a short morning trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens yesterday morning. I cannot believe that I have lived in Colorado pretty much my entire life and have never visited these gardens. They are honestly breathtaking. It might just be me but I love wondering around an unfamiliar place, especially one as beautiful as the Botanic Gardens. There is even a giant tropical conservatory that makes you feel as if you are walking through an actual tropical forest. This was my favorite part, I could have spent all day in there.

I wore the cutest little linen button-front dress to the gardens. I love the fact that the dress ties in a bow in the back and the linen material makes it the perfect choice for walking around on a hot day, not to mention it’s costs under $25. I paired the dress with a straw cross-body bag, flower earrings, and a scarf. Initially I had the scarf tied to my bag, but once it got super hot I used it tie my hair up. I love scarfs for this reason, they are so versatile.
